Base Improvements
January 1st - January 31st
We will replace all Brita filters to ensure access to clean drinking water and replenish lotion and shower supplies at bases and fleet locations. Our art therapy program will continue at hospitals to provide a creative outlet during offload delays, and 12 new books have been added to our mini libraries. This year, fitness kits will be introduced at most bases; see the “BASES” section for details.
Candy Grams & Photoshoot Giveaway
Saturday, February 14th
Check your mailboxes on Valentine’s Day for a thoughtful surprise from the Wellness team. Each card will include important upcoming event dates—and perhaps a sweet treat as well. Members will also have a chance to win a romantic photoshoot by entering through our website or by liking our social media post.
March Madness Bingo
March 1st - March 31st
Following positive feedback, we are excited to continue our workplace bingo initiative. Three bingo cards have been created to reflect the experiences of field medics, community paramedics, and logistics staff. Watch for the bingo cards at fleet locations in early March. While there will be no prizes this year, we encourage everyone to enjoy some friendly competition and fun.
North Fleet vs. South Fleet Paintball

We’re launching the first-ever Annual North Fleet vs. South Fleet Games. This year’s competition will be hosted at a local paintball venue, where both fleets will battle for bragging rights and a championship trophy. The winning fleet will earn the honour of housing the trophy until the next Games. May the odds be ever in your favour. Register today and be part of the inaugural Fleet Games.

To recognize and celebrate the incredible dedication of our paramedics and logistics staff, we’re hosting a special event just for you. While this year’s venue is still being finalized, we’re excited to announce that a local house band has been confirmed, featuring Canada’s Got Talent star Brianna Monterosso. Join us for an evening of live music, free food, and well-deserved appreciation—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Once again, we’ll be proud to support Waterloo Region Hospice, with this year’s event hosted at Grey Silo Golf Course. After an electric finish to last season, we’re heading back to the ballpark for a Toronto Blue Jays vs. Texas Rangers showdown on Sunday, June 28th! Kick things off by riding in style on a luxury coach bus, then enjoy the game from the exclusive Third Base Bar, reserved just for our crew. Tickets will be available soon—and they’re limited—so don’t sit on the bench.

Summer Park Days are back—and better than ever! Bring your friends and family and join us for a fun-filled morning at the park. It’s the perfect opportunity to socialize with your co-workers and have your little ones meet and play together. This year’s Adult Holiday Party is taking over Players Indoor Golf & Sports Bar! Get ready for FREE, unlimited fun with state-of-the-art golf simulators, arcade games, and high-speed F1 racing simulators. Not a golfer? No worries!
