Welcome to our Wellness Running Club, a community designed to support runners of all levels, from beginners to advanced enthusiasts. Here, we believe that running should be accessible to everyone, which is why our club operates with low commitment and free participation. For those interested in enhancing their experience, we offer an optional paid running event, allowing you to challenge yourself and meet fellow runners. To stay connected and keep track of your progress, we encourage you to download the Strava app, where you can join our club and share your running journey. Strava is a social-fitness network that offers the next level in virtual running by merging participant performances with common community routes. Choose a route Segment in your community or join a "ROWPS Runs" Running Club Featured Route to compare run performances by age, time, and gender. Stay virtually connected with the running community by joining clubs and following members. Kudos for a great job are fun to both send and receive when training solo. Strava has a GPS tracking function that can be used to record your time and distance if you don’t already have a similar tracking-styled watch. Strava is a free app that needs to be downloaded and member login is required.

Step 1- Download App

Track your fitness activity with Strava. Record your run, map a route & analyze your training with all the stats at your fingertips – for free! Whether you’re training for a 5K or simply love tracking your fitness, turn your smartphone or GPS watch into a sophisticated tracker with Strava. Join millions of athletes and active people and reach your fitness goals!

Step 2 - Sync Your Device

If you do not have a GPS tracking enabled watch, no problem, use the GPS tracker included in the Strava app (the Record button at the bottom-center of your smartphone screen starts the tracker). If you are using a watch you will need to Sync your watch with your phone after each run to download the activity.

Join us on Strava to connect with your fellow co-workers and measure your progress. All you have to do is find our profile "5191 Wellness" or our club "ROWPS Runs" and add us. Take a peak at our friends list to add others. Share your races, workouts, give kudos to great performances and leave comments on each other's activities.
